Midnight Oil - Black Rain Falls na Bombuj. On May 30, 1990, Midnight Oil interrupted its North American tour for a “special guerrilla action” on the crowded Avenue of the Americas in midtown Manhattan. The agit prop event was a live concert from the back of a flat-bed truck that eventually drew more than 10,000 people at the high noon hour. The Australian band took this chance to make public its feelings on the planet’s crumbling environment
